1940s Tea Dance

Stockton Parish Church Hall

Jane is delighted to be joining a group of young people this afternoon for a tea dance being held in Stockton Parish Church Hall. The group are all members of the National Citizen Service, an organisation aimed at young people, and the tea dance is the third and final part of a Social Action Project that has seen the group undertake two residential courses.


On the second of these, the group visited a local charity called Dementia Friends. It prompted the idea of holding a tea dance to raise funds for this most worthwhile of causes.


It runs from 2.00pm-6.00pm, during which Jane will perform all her favourite 1940s dance numbers, and there will be plenty of dance tunes in between time. This is a public event - and everyone is welcome to what we guarantee will be a lively afternoon, with something for everyone.
