'Somewhere in England' 1940s Weekend
A late addition to her busy autumn calendar, Jane will be providing the entertainment at Kingsley & Froghall Station (ST10 2HA), the terminus of the delightful Churnet Valley Railway in Staffordshire.
This private railway, travelling through ten miles of gorgeous countryside, dubbed 'Little Switzerland', is stepping back to the 1940s, with the intriguing-titled theme of 'Somewhere in England'.
A two-day event, which attracts lots of visitors each year, sees Jane there all day on the Saturday. She'll be adding to the 1940s atmosphere as the steam trains arrive and depart, and as always will welcome any dancers.
