Morecambe 1940s Revival
Coinciding with the resort's Vintage By The Sea Festival but a completely separate event in its own right, this year sees the revival of the Morecambe 1940s Weekend - appropriately now called Morecambe 1940s Revival. Next year, the event will switch to early August - but for now it's most definitely being held on the first weekend in September. There' are two days of music and dancing on the menu, with a Saturday evening dance held at the town's Memorial Hall. Jane will be singing live at the dance, with support from Peter Jetson as George Formby and a non-stop evening of 1940s dance music (rest assured, strictly 1940s!). Jane will be performing all day on the Sunday - and there will also be music from Bexi Owen. It promises to be a successful and very welcomed 1940s Revival. See you there!
