Jane joins food writer and top television personality Mary Berry here at Upton House today for a very special occasion... as the result of a World Record attempt is announced. More details...

Owned by the National Trust, Upton House has been celebrating the 1940s throughout the year and, as part of that, has invited people to Knit for Victory, in creating what is hoped will be the longest display of hand-knitted bunting ever produced. The house will be decorated with all the bunting thus far produced, with Jane performing 1940s music in the Long Gallery during the morning and early afternoon, and Mary Berry announcing the result at 12.15pm.

Fingers firmly crossed that all the magnificent effort that has gone into the world record attempt is duly rewarded. This will be Jane's third visit to Upton House this year and has seen the progress on the attempt at first hand. Good luck, everyone!
